No signal

Hi. I know we have had some bad storms of late, still ongoing, but I have no signal to my Sky Q box. Should I book an Engineer or just wait?

@JimOx11 Does the message say no signal or no satellite signal? Is it on all channels?

Possibly check the dish for any snow if you have had any.

If it is clear & there it is not currently snowing or raining heavily then I suggest it would be wise to book an an engineer as no doubt they will be very busy in the aftermath

It is on all channels - "The channel is currently affected by a problem with your satellite signal"

@JimOx11 Sounds like your dish is now out of alignment. You will need an engineer to reposition it, so I'd get in quick.

@JimOx11 That's quick in all fairness considering the amount of extra visits probably being requested due to the two storms. Glad you got it booked asap.

I have same problem but I live In a flat is it sky I need or or the council who deals with the communal satellite
