‘Sky Originals in HDR’ are not in HDR

Just got a new Q Box that can do HDR.

when I navigate to on demand > Ultra HD > Sky origionals in HDR, none of the titles are available in HDR, only UHD with no HDR Flag.

if I search for the same Title, I have the option to watch in HDR and the HDR flag is there.

what am I missing here??

TV is LG OLED and is HLG compatible.

First photo is from the HDR section of on demand, the second is from finding the Chanel from the search.

Is the current AV resolution on your box set to 2160p 10 Bit ?

Yes, if I play the searches for title that has the HDR flag it works

Unfortunatley I think it is just a case of certain page links not quite being as one would expect.

I am glad that you can find and download the HDR versions - although as you have found sometimes it might take a bit of detective work to find them

Yes, it's a pain, especially when it's titled what it is! And especially when sky are trying to showcase it!

HDR is very much an afterthought for Sky. Their implementation of it has been poor from day 1.

HDR has disappeared from all shows that were previously in HDR from on demand. Not just my box spoken to 5 other people.

It's still there with movies.

Anyone from Sky shed some light please

Brassic season 2-3 (1 wasn't HDR)

Cobro

Britannia

Breeders

....... basically ever single show that was in HDR is now not.

Same with the nature stuff.

nothing is working via on demand.

movies are fine.

@BumtiousA Discovery of Witches is definately available in UHD/HDR. I found it on a vouce search for Discovery of Witches season 2. Are you sure your box is set to 10-bit when set to 2160p? Also, are you sure you have a Q box that supports HDR?

If I go to On Demand/UltraHD/Sky Originals in HDR then, as @Bumtious says, no HDR. However if I use the search facility I can get the UHD HDR version...🤔

I'm a custom installer, an ISF calibrator and an HAA sound calibrator.

There's something going on and Sky are not being honest about it.

Was at 2 peoples houses today, same issue.

Not working, call back on the system I was discussing with sky today wasn't working at skys end

Can you go back to where you just see UHD for A Discovery of Witches and have a look at all formats and see if HDR shows up?

Yes, I do agree that something is up with the UHD/HDR listings.

Go to main menu and scroll down to on demand

go to ultra hd

sky originals in hdr. There's no hdr
