Discovery plus not on sky box

I have activated my discovery plus account with my sky account however when I scroll down to apps the discovery plus app isn't there? I have tried to refresh apps and that still hasn't worked and I have tried to unplug and re connect the box and still not joy.

@Fern135 have you tried using you blue mic button and speaking the voice commands 'Discovery plus' or 'Get discovery plus'

I've been experiencing the same issue since the other day. Strangely enough, the discovery + app is only missing from 1 of my multi screen boxes? Very annoying!?!!!

Phoned Sky today and finally got a resolution! Apparently when they installed my box it was on the old software version! You need to go to settings and find where it says what software version you are on, if it is any less than Q108 then Discovery Plus won't be installed!

Thanks for sharing. However, mine says Q160, but yet still there is no discovery plus app? This is so bizarre!?!

You need to update your software to the latest which is Q180.000.16.00L

To do this:

Press Home

Scroll down to Settings press Enter

Scroll down to System info

Scroll across and down to Software version

Scroll across to Setup

Enter and press Software download

Software will update

Please note, however, that I believe it can often take 2 or 3 attempts to update it, so just try again if the first attempts don't work

Thank you for your advice. I've now updated the box to Q180, which was pretty straightforward as you instructed. However, there is still no discovery plus app available? I've no idea what's going on with it. Prehaps I need a new box!?! Again!! 😥
