      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi I know a little about tec stuff but I am stuck on this and have tried google, my friend has a sky Q box &amp;nbsp;on her tv the start up screen is that big that you can't see the menu options on the left so I can't go into the settings to try and sort it for her it's as though it's zoomed in is there a way I can sort this for her without seeing the settings, on google it says press home then 1080 then home but that does not work any help would be much appreciated thank you&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;First thing I suggest is to try pressing the Home 1 0 8 0 Home in sequence again.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;After that I thinkI would suggest using the TV's own remote and look for any options in the various menus for 'Picture Aspect' (or similr name)&amp;nbsp; and try various options (usually Auto works) - options may contain things like zoom which should not be selected&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Other than that try using a different HDMI port on the TV&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Also consider a power down reset of the SKY Q box:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Use the remote to place it into standby mode&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;Then remove the power to it (either switch off at mains or remove the power plug)&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;Wait at least 30s&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;Then re-apply the power &amp;amp; wait for it to fully restart - this may take a few minutes.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Check to see that it's not zoomed in from her tv remote control rather that the Q remote&amp;nbsp;&lt;a href="https://helpforum.sky.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/1137436"&gt;@Trevor+Wealthall&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;Try switching the tv and Q box off at the plug socket to see if that resolves it.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Post the make/model&amp;nbsp; of the TV and someone may know if that is the problem.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi everyone, I recently asked for help because a friend of mine could not see the settings on her skyQ because the tv was zoomed in to much and thought I'd let you know it's now sorted and I tried the suggestion from you to try using another hdmi port which is the first thing I tried and pleased to say that worked and now she is able to see her settings menu so thank you for all your help &lt;span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":thumbs_up:"&gt;👍&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
