Intermittent loss of image and sound through sky Q box and plugged into HDMI cable to LG OLED TV

Checked all signal strenths and changed cables - tried the skq with hard wire and via wifi - changed the DHCP setting to manual disconnected everything else and still have a intermited flick to a black screen with no sound every 3- 4 mins for around a second - does this watching TV channles but not seen when recorded a programme (although whilst watching the issue was apparent - yet not visible when playing back)

any suggestions of not is working for us ? a TV issue? - an internet service issue? (router)

Check your LG has the latest firmware as there was a HDCP bug which caused picture loss (but usually much more freqent that you describe).

Had very similar, especially the bit where the live tv goes black but the same recorded playback was fine. Problem was happening when a boiler valve switch was flipping, about 10-20 times a day. I reasoned had to be electromagnetic interference. The sky satellite dish and coax cable runs were very close to the boiler.

Fixed by changing HDMI cable to fibre instead of copper. Other people have fixed similar issues by having their sky box replaced.
