Sky Q mini box setup issue

I have a Sky Q main box and Q mini box already in the house. I've tried to connect a 2nd mini box and it cannot seem to find the other boxes during setup, so setup fails. The first two boxes are part of a Control 4 setup but I'm surprised if this is affecting it. I also tried putting the boxes next to each other and it still can't see the other sky boxes, so it's not a proximity issue. Both boxes flash showing they are trying to do something.

@Jdubz your Control 4 set up should have nothing to do with it as Sky will not use it to connect mini boxes they . Have you tried using WPS between the new box and an existing working Q box.

This is assuming that you got the mini box from Sky.

Do you have one of the very early non UHD 1TB boxes as they support less mini boxes than the later ones it could be only one mini box. You can confirm this or otherwise by swapping your 2 mini boxes and seeing if the new one works.

Ok, I'll that - the older boxes I have are 2018 or so.

And yes, it's the WPS button I'm pressing but they're not connecting.

@JdubzJust to confirm the early 1TB box only supports 1 mini box.

Ah ok, I'll call sky and give the serial number to see if that's the issue
