Pause function does not remain paused

Despite re-setting sky, the pause function remains unpredictable and un-pauses a programme randomly without allowing rewind.

Reminds me of the good old days when you had to quickly do anything in the break so you wouldn't miss anything. Can't say that I miss that though and hope a remedy will be on the horizon soon.

The only other option is to record what you are watching, but this is not only time consuming but also frustrating when you eg. Just sat down with a cuppa to watch the news.

Any information would be greatly appreciated on this matter.

@Rainbow+PlantsIs your disk storage almost full as any pause needs to be temporarily recorded to work and this uses up disk space. If this is the case go into manage your recordings then deleted and remove those you are never going to watch again. Deleted recordings are deleted temporarily and take up storage space unless you delete for ever.

Thanks for the reply, but I have a new Sky Q box so my storage is negligible.

Hasn 't anyone else noticed this then?

the normal pause/rewind record period for the current channel (providing you remain on it) is around one hour.

If it is not letting you record more than a few minutes then possibly there is a fault (as you say you don't have saved recordings using up disk space)
