When I switch a socket on or my pond pump goes off or on with the timer the sky q box goes to a black screen then I have to press stand by to bring the box back on. It does not affect any of the other tv's in the house. Had electrician out today to check for faults and no faults found. Anyone else have this problem

@Gaz10uk As there is still a green light on, on your SKYQ box, it may suggest it could be the TV that is losing connection with the SKYQ box, if your TV is a smart TV try updating the firmware on it, and also reboot it by turning the power off at the socket for 30 sec then turn back on to reboot?

You can also reboot the main SKYQ box at the same time?

Is the standby button you press, the power on/off button on the SKYQ remote?

Or the one on the remote for your TV?

If I unplug the sky box and turn sockets or run pond pump the tv is fine. It's only when sky box is on that the tv goes to a black screen as per attached pic. It's the sky remote I use to put the box into standby and then turn back on. As per pic green light is still on the sky box

If your SKYQ box is set for UHD output, then your TV HDMI in socket needs to be set up for UHD, or use a different HDMI socket for the SKYQ box, you will need to look at the TV instuctions for this?
