Thumbnail images not showing for Apps

Over the last few weeks we have had no thumbnail images for the Apps and sometimes for other items on Sky Q. Any ideas what the issue is and how to fix it please?

already turn it off and on and Refreshed Apps.

Hi @rmp1974

Try a Reset Settings in the hidden menu.
To enter hidden menu press Home and navigate down to Settings but do not select Settings.
With Settings highlighted press 0 0 1 Select.
Only Carry out the first Reset (Reset Settings) as the other two will wipe all recordings.
After the Reset you will have to re pair your Bluetooth remote If you use one.
Press 1 & 3 together on the remote and follow onscreen instructions to re pair

Just tried it an still nothing, if anything there appear to be more missing.

Hi @rmp1974

Try first rebooting your Broadband router (disconnect power lead for 30 secs and then reconnect).

When this is completely back up and fully running reboot the Main Q box again.

To reboot press Standby on your Sky Q remote (if the box responds to the remote), and then switch off and unplug at the mains.
Wait at least 30 secs and then Plug back in and switch your Sky Q box back on at the mains.
Wait for the on screen instructions to disappear and the front led to turn Amber. Then wait for 30 secs before you press Home on your Sky Q remote or if this is not working press the standby button on the front of the Q box (Amber led)

note: some features may take up to 5 minutes to return.

Tried and still nothing (albeit one or two TV program images are back)

I have got the same issue and it's started happening since few weeks only. Any help would be appreciated.

I've tried everything to get them back then I did this and they all came back. If you have the sky buddy app look on devices and turn everything that's sky related in restrictions to none. Don't know if it was coincidence but they all came back after doing this

I switched my Broadband to Virgin Media fibre and it all works fine now, It was certainly to do with broadband speed.

Do you have sky broadband buddy?

I had the same problem on a number of apps.

I put my sky q box into a category in settings that has no age restrictions. Looks like the parental control is stopping the thumbnails being viewed as they are not sky controlled.
