Hi there, Please help how can I watch African channels on sky? Which package do I need to subscribe to. Thanks

Which African channels? Sky do carry some international channels. If they don't carry the ones you want they can't just add them, it would be the channels owners to put them on Sky.

You may need to look at other ways to receive said channels.

You can use Setup->Manual Tuning to add satellite channels to your Sky Q box.

You'd need to put some work into finding out the Frequency, Polarisation, Symbol rate and FEC

Sky Q uses the Astra 2E and 2F satellites.

There's a list of channels on the satexpat website:

Frequencies and channels on satellites Astra 2E 2F 2G 28.2° East (satexpat.com)

There's some Africa channels there, I was able to add and view ROK (a Nigerian channel) by using this method.

The new channels won't be in the EPG, you'll need to find them in Settings->Manual Tuning. You also can't record the content, only view.

It's worth noting that satellites broadcasting to Africa typically won't have a footprint over Europe.

All the African channels available via Astra in the UK are already on the EPG:

182 - Channel 7

184 - Hi Impact TV

193 - Vox Africa

329 - ROK

524 - TVC News

There are some other African channels carried on Astra 2F but they are on a different beam directed at Western Africa and can not be received in the UK:
