Trying to connect surround sound but no scart on skyq box

Just upgraded from HD to a q box so now have no scart port. I have an older dvd/surround sound system that has no hdmi, only scart. How do I connect this to skyq box.

You could try using a converter such as follows.

However quality of Scart is far inferior to HDMI and you really should consider upgrading your surround sound system

there still may be issues with HDCP copy protection and so no guarantees

Is there any chance that it has an optical audio input ?

Thanks, I think it is time I upgraded, it's about 18 years old!

Perhaps. Has the sound bar got optical out, if so you can use this directly to SkyQ
