Just in case you are not aware, the Sky Q Main box will only connect to the 2.4 GHz band unless it is Sky broadband.

The Box will not stay connected to the broadband. It also will not see the 5g. All other devices have no issues seeing both 2g and 5g and the broadband service has been constant with no interruptions. Please help!!

Also, are you in a position to try and hardwire the box straight into a router?

The internet connection is fine once we retype the password in, which suggests it's not the router.

We are with EE. None of our other devices have an issue. We are not able to hardwire it no. We are only able to connect to the 2G part of our internet anyway.

If we reboot the box it can automatically re-establish a connection but we shouldn't have to be doing that.

Mine was exactly the same, got BT, and same with mini's. Set your router on the 2.4ghz to a static channel, i now use 6 as my neighbour uses 1 & 11. It's been pretty solid since i did this and everything else on the 2.4 is fine too
