topic Q on Glass in Archive

I am totally confused as sorry for my ignorance but have been reading all the posts about glass.

can you plug in a q box to a glass tv and continue watching q if you cancel but keep glass? My understanding is no they are separate and cannot be mixed. I see that some have kept the glass and returned to the q box meaning using the glass tv stand alone watching free view? I cannot understand this if it's either one or the other you would not be able to watch sky on the glass.

So you connect a puck to the glass and carry on watching q on glass with a normal subscription.
im hoping that although some posters don't like it , it would be ok for my needs that being able to watch sky on more than 2 TVs at once. My expectations are not so high as maybe others but reserve the right to change my mind.

Benefit for me is new tv 2 more TVs to watch sky on at the same time, and £4 less pm than what I'm paying now. Thanks for reply.

Hi @Silverfox8 A Sky Q Mini box would not work without a Sky Q Main box connected to a satellite dish. You could then connect any Sky Q box (Main or Mini) to the non-subscribed Glass TV.
