Pairing skyq touch remote with sony tv

When pairing skq remote with Sony XR tv, the box does not recognise the designation.

The remote turns on both tv and sky box but the tv says the box is not on.

Hi @Triciaevie

Are you using the Q remote with a long press to turn on the TV independently or are you just using a short press on the remote to turn on the Q box which will then turn on the TV with CEC control?

Also when the TV was turned off previously was it on the Q HDMI input ?

Tried both and was on sky HDMI

NB: this is a new this year model

Hi @Triciaevie

With my SONY have to make sure the TV is on the Q HDMI input before you switch on the Q box
