New sky remote

I got a new skyq mini box so that I have multi room, the remote that was supplied isn't working with it. I able to use my old remote but need to keep programming them into the different boxes every time I change room. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get the remote to work.

Hi @Wee+Kelly If the remote is faulty then you need to contact Sky for a free replacement. Have you tried initialising it by hold down 7 & 9 until the led flashes four times.

hi @Wee+Kelly if it is not working (rather than accidentally broken) then I believe if you follow the links through on here you should be able to order a replacement

N.B. I have not used the links so I am just quoting what was advised - do be careful as the link may assume a broken remote was broken by you rather not working in the first place

Thank you both, I have tried new batteries and programming it but had no success, it doesn't even flash hence why I programmed my original remote in. I have now managed to request a new remote as I was going in circles with the help pages.

That page is irrelevant - it refers to Sky+HD remotes, but the poster is having issues with Sky Q.
