Channels changes taking forever

When changing channels it's take about 20-30 seconds to change channels, I've turned off and on again serveral times , broadband is working 450 mbs , so none of these excuses . When recording another programme sky go into melt down it trying to watch another different recorded program, sky q box by the way

That doesn't sound good. If you've done a full reboot then if I were you I would phone Sky. They will go through some troubleshooting with you and if required arrange a new box.

Make sure you've turned the box off at the wall for 30 secs, then back on again and let it reboot fully. Is that what you meant by off and on?
