Unable to watch Le Mans 66 in uhd

Just downloaded Le Mans 66 in uhd but cannot watch it, keep seeing a message that I cannot watch it on my device ( Sony Bravia), any ideas .?

hi @andyrich4 aer you trying to watch it via a SKY mini ?

SKY mini's don't support 4K/UHD

(P.S. Unlike the streaming platforms it doesn't auto adjust to HD - so to watch on a mini it must be a separate download in HD)

Downloaded via Sky Q box, never had a problem with UHD programmes before

Are you trying to watch on the main box or mini - mini's cannot playback anything downloaded in UHD

Hi @andyrich4 Sony Bravia is just a generic name, what is your TV model number (starts with KD or XR)? Where is the message being generated? Are you trying to watch a UHD HDR programme without setting your TV to enhanced and Sky Q to 10 bit? Any other clues.

BTW I f you are trying to watch on the main box check that your box resolution has not reverted to HD (1080)

@andyrich4 in which case can I suggest you try a power down restart your main SKY Q box :

Use the remote to place it into standby mode

Then remove the power to it (either switch off at mains or remove the power plug)

Wait at least 30s

Then re-apply the power & wait for it to fully restart - this may take a few minutes.

It seems that Sky can only allow access to the HD version, the UHD version is no longer available

@andyrich4 I've just downloded the UHD version but the only UHD version I could find was the UHD HDR version could you have downloaded this version and don't have a box that can play HDR

A Sky adviser checked all my settings and came to the conclusion that the film is no longer available in UHD on Sky and should have been removed ( still showing available today)

@andyrich4 as I dsaid I downloaded it yesterday without any problem and it plays perfectly fine the only veesion I could find was the UHD HDR version see my post above yours
