Thank you I have now switched to paper bill , so will I now be able to pay in post office as I will no longer have the bank account I have been using and have been with sky for 8 years so really do not want to have to leave this might be my only option to be able to pay my bill each month . From November.

@Tylereloise you may want to check the details of your contract. Sky usually require you to have a continuing payment set up - that's a direct debit or regular card payment.

They might not mind, but be sure never to be late paying. If you are late, they're likely to insist you set up a continuous payment.

@Tylereloise I concur with @Mark39 and to be honest I haven't heard of sky accepting payment via the post office

@Lisa-P1987 can you give any clarity on this please?

@Tylereloise further to what has already been said, I'm not a 100% sure on this but you may find that paper bills are an exact copy of what you get online and contains no payment slip/banking info in order to be able to pay over the counter

That's right. Sky bills don't contain a payment counterfoil and Sky don't release their banking details (though I think they have done in the past).

You really do need to call Sky to confirm this before considering leaving.

If you select paper bills, this just sends you a paper copy of the bill. It is NOT a payment method as there is not a bank giro slip on it.

If you want to pay by invoice you need to speak to our team and there will need to be specific reason behind this. As mentioned, as part of having Sky, you agree to keep an active payment method set up.

If you do manage to get set up on invoicing, you have to make sure the funds paid a week before you payment due date to allow for processing time as the giro normally takes 3-5 days to process and be sent to us.

Do you know the number to call for a invoice as when I rang sky the advisor said I can pay through post office but think it was just so I upgraded my acc to sky Q which I did and now am gettin messages my account will be restricted so seems he has given me false information. I have tried a few numbers an it is a automated system telling me they have Called an to update my payment method but won't let me do anything else or speak to a actual person , now my anxiety is through the roof and I am panicking.

@Tylereloise Now your service is restricted Sky won't accept your call until the outstanding payment is paid in full and you setup a new continuous payment method

there's no way round this unless you can get through via a number not linked to your account or by putting 141 before Sky's number

Sky don't provide thay service. You can only pay by card or direct debit.

You can view your online bill here and can also turn on paper billing but there is a charge for this:

If your services were suspended then you would also need to setup either a continuous card payment or a direct debit before you will get your services back. If you were more than 2 weeks late in paying the bill you would also need to pay the next one.
