Black screen BBC1 HD

My mini box is served by a wifi booster following connectivity issues.
For the last couple of days at switch on if I choose BBC1 HD, I get a blank screen until I go back to the home screen and select another channel that plays ok then change to BBC1 HD and all is ok.
I'm guessing reboot, reset but wanted to put it out as a strange one!
Anyone seen this?

I used to get that on my mini too @TechmanagerMal but a reset settings seemed to fix it.

Did you do the troubleshooting you posted? Be good to hear if it does it again after that.

Did nothing and it was fine today, end of Olympics coverage at the time we switched it on, coincidence?

Good to hear it is all sorted. Might be a coincidance about the Olympics coverage. I suppose best thing to do is just monitor it for now and see if it comes back next time. And go from there.
