My sky q main box is in my living room the bt broadband is on the other side of my living room. I connect my bt hub wirelessly to my sky q box. I get about 50 mps do you think this is quick enough for sky q? and can I leave the bt hub where it is?

UHD will be painfully slow as will directly streamed apps like Amazon or Disney+ if the speed is very slow.

Obviously connecting by Ethernet would be better and more reliable but you would only gain 5 Mbps. Anything above 25 Mbps is perfectly good for everything that Sky Q offers including streaming.
