Account number incorrect

Hi,

The account number for my broadband when I log onto my sky is incorrect. Hence i cannot see my bills.

Can i get this number updated?

@DavidTullamore You'll have to call Sky. This is primarily a forum for customers to help other customers and is not Sky Customer Services. Sky won’t automatically contact you as the result of your post on here.

@DavidTullamore You will need to call Sky.

You can call on 150 from a Sky Talk Line or Sky Mobile.

If you haven't got a current Sky Mobile or Sky Talk this link should help:
(UK) https://www.sky.com/help/home Scroll down and click on ‘Need more help’ and it provides a 0333 number
(ROI) on the same link change the flag in the very bottom corner to the ROI flag to obtain an 0818 number.

Stay on the line and don’t hang up if prompted to. Apparently the quieter times to ring are just after 7am or about 9pm.

@DavidTullamore Do you have any other services with Sky like tv or is it just broadband

if you do it sounds like you have separate accounts rather than a combined one if this is the case you can't do anything other than to create a separate Sky id for the broadband account and then login to each account individually

alternatively phone sky and see what they say

What is the phone number to contact sky ? I keep getting number not in service when i use the one on the website ending2253

Have you had Sky broadband before @DavidTullamore and cancelled and now returned ?

Yes, had it before and have returned

the 0818 roi number is not in service

If you left Sky and then returned after being away for a year then your account will have been closed as you have discovered so you will need to set up a new Sky ID and use.

If you want to use the same email address then you need to first remove it from the old account first as this will then free it up allowing it to be used when setting your new ID up. First try this link to do this:

If this link doesn't work for you then try it yourself by logging into the old account here:

https://www.sky.com/myaccount/my-details

Then delete the email address by providing another one and logout of this account, this will then free it up to use when setting up your new Sky ID:
