Pac Code

I have been having trouble with my number since I transferred network. I got a pac number from my old provider and used the pac code when setting up my phone with Sky. Ever since, my number hasn't been displayed properly, I've had trouble sending texts and sometimes can't even ring people on my number that I transferred.

Hi @Jordan+Fairbrothe if this is an iPhone go to settings, phone, my number and check the correct number is stored there, if not then update it then exit and reboot your phone.

That's brill thank you. It has changed however, when I added my number it warned me saying my SMS texts could be charged. My contract should be covered with my texts, do you know if I will be charged?

That sounds like a message that was generated by your phone itself so it can be ignored.

Hello, I've recently changed sim from virgin to sky. I got the pac code from virgin and gave it to sky. But even after my old number cane back, text messages from me are coming from the tenpory number. I'm using an android phone. Any help appreciated

Have Sky told you that the number transfer has been completed and if so have you checked your phone's settings to see if it is now showing this number and not the temporary one ?

Yes the pac code was successful switch on the 23rd and my number on goggle is my old number in the settings

If you are sendings Texts and they show as your old number then there must be a setting that yiu have missed somewhere as it might be shown in more than one loaction in your phone's settings.

I can't find anywhere else in settings that has my phone number
