Communal dish but I have aerial outside my window

I have an engineer coming to set up sky q in our flat. I have previously got sky HD installed. It says that the engineer needs access to the communal dish, however I have a satellite dish just outside one of our window and I also have a sky TV outlet in the living room, so does he still need access to the communal dish? When I had sky HD set up the engineer did not need access to communal dish.

Also parking we don't have parking in front of my flat. There is parking around side roads.

If you have your own private dish that is fine. The reason the correspondence will say communal is because your property will be set up as a communal block on our system. You should be fine.

@Tanjina1994If you have your own dish then the installer will need to get to the dish to change the LNB, it could be a problem depending on the height of the dish as Sky's safety rules have changed over the years.

@Tanjina1994 you ate not talking to Sky by posting in the forum you will need to call them to tell them those things.

The dish outside your window maybe usable if it is accessable (ie not above 2 storey height) and is reasonable knick. The engineer nees access to wherecthe enlectr onics for the communal dish live not go the dish itself talk to who ever manages the building to get yhst otherwise if your dish is unusable the install probably cant be completed.
