Hi I've had my sky q box and 2 mini boxes for 4 years with no issues. These are supported by a BT whole of home mesh network. In the last week I've started having issues with the mini boxes connectivity. It started on Sunday when I couldn't get satellite signal. Turned out I had an issue with sky q hard drive and had to reset it. That resolved that. Since then most mornings I'm having to reconnect both my mini boxes by unplugging and plugging back in so they connect to main sky q box. Once I've done in the morning I have no more issues. So suddenly something is happening overnight that is causing signal loss. Note in settings on all the boxes I still have network connection ok - it's just on Mini boxes they say not connected to sky q box. Any thoughts on sudden cause? Internet connection through house is all good -300mbps plus and no other changes either.

@graemesIf Sky is not your ISP it does not matter how good your home WiFi is as the link between boxes does not use it as they generate their own mesh on 5Ghz Ch36.

Try using WPS between a mini box and the main box, if this works repeat with other mini boxes.

https://www.sky.com/help/diagnostics/setting-up-sky-q/connect-your-sky-q-mini

Thanks for the info. I've done that but doesn't seem to change a drop out of signal overnight. Once unplug and restart sky mini boxes in morning get no more issues for rest of day. It's strangely only just happened this last week. For the 4 years prior was fine. Starting to wonder if main box playing up as it follows on from having to reset its hard drive too
