I know there are a few posts on this and I've tried to setup how I think would help.

I have a Sky Q and two minis. Main internet is on first floor, Sky Q on ground floor below it then a mini on ground rear, and one on top floor.

I had BT total Wi-Fi and that was fine but I have 900MB line and the throughput of the BT boxes was poor so upgraded to Orbi Wi-Fi 6. All seemed fine for a few weeks.

They all connected via Wi-Fi and all had very strong signals and close enough to a Wi-Fi box.

one satellite mini in particular drops off all the time, has ropey drop in / out performance or sometimes loses the Sky Q box and needs a reset.

Ive replaced this Sky Q Mini box but no difference. I've plugged this in on Ethernet and just wouldn't find the Q box if I turned it's Wi-Fi off using the 0 0 1 menu.

long story short I put the main Sky Q on a powerline and connected via Ethernet to the main Orbi Router,

Both Mini boxes are direct into a Wi-Fi satellite box via Ethernet. Wi-Fi is turned off on all sky Q boxes.
wifi backhaul and signal is strong and running latest firmware. Mini box can hold for hours or even a few days but is very hit and miss.

At a loss now to be honest.
