RTÉ player.

Coul someone please point me in the right direction as where I can view RTÉ player on Sky Q.

Seen threads saying it's in Catch Up , but I don't see it.

Yes, tried Catch up.

On Demand.

Apps.

I also updated software to latest.

@Tel It should be in the catch up section, I am presuming you are in the Republic of Ireland and not the UK?

If your in Ireland try refreshing the apps

Press Home on your Sky Q remote, then highlight Settings.
Press 0,0,1 and Select to access the Installer menu.
Select Apps then highlight Refresh all Apps on this box. You'll see a message that says, 'Your apps are being refreshed'.
Press Dismiss to return to normal viewing

@Tel Northern Ireland? That is classed as the UK so the RTE player wouldn't be available (as far as I know). RTE is for the Republic of Ireland.

@TechmanagerMal Customer has already posted they are Northern Ireland the Eire team would not be able to assist. (Although we do need them to confirm it is indeed Northern Ireland). If they are Northern Ireland then they cannot get the RTE Player.

@TechmanagerMal Well of course if you can advise better feel free to do so.

RTE is only available in the Republic of Ireland, it would therefore be logical that their on demand content is also restricted to the Republic as well

I only raised question as I have both Rte 1 & Rte 2 channels on sky, I thought it only logical it might be there as BBC, UTV channel 4 + 5 all have catch up.

@Tel So although you could still use the RTE player, I guess because your in Northern Ireland it's just not on Sky Q.

@Tel the RTE player has a different versions for Ireland and Northern Ireland I assume that RTE are only providing the Irish vrersion to Sky hence why the app is not on your Q box (more here )

This issue is most likely rights as RTE buy rights to shows and sport for the republic while other broadcasters like ITV have the same shows but with rights to the UK. Suspect your RTE channels dont show some programmes for the same reason.
