If this works you may not need your nova mesh. Q boosters are free from Sky if needed.

Sky mini box query

I've got the mini box coming tomorrow which I'll have connected to my TV in the conservatory. The Sky router and Q box are both next to each other in the living room about 13 metres away. Wi fi isn't great in the conservatory so I installed a nova mesh system which means on demand works fine on the TV. I'm trying not to be negative but I don't think the signal will be strong enough to reach the mini box to keep it constantly connected. I told this to the person at Sky but they were adamant it will be OK...anyway would buying a new router be an idea and if so which one should I go for? Could all of the Sky equipment connect to my mesh network or will I have to switch it off? Sorry loads of questions but any help is appreciated.

Hi and thanks for the response. I've a strong feeling I'll require the booster and said as much to the person at Sky. Let's see what happens!
