Hi,

sky called last week and sold me an upgrade to movies for £3 a month - I was told this would be live within 4hrs but I am still getting an error message "the channel is currently affected by a problem with your satellite signal" a week on - any ideas from anyone as following the online help from sky it takes me round in circles?

thanks

hi @GARETHALLEN7 that sound more like a genuine Signal problem rather than your account.

If you haven't done so I suggest a power down reset of your box :

Use the remote to place it into standby mode

Then remove the power to it (either switch off at mains or remove the power plug)

Wait at least 30s

Then re-apply the power & wait for it to fully restart - this may take a few minutes.

If you stil lhvae problems with the Signal I suggest calling SKY to book an engineer
