The Q box will try to connect to the weak Sky wifi signal rather than the boosters signal. </P> <P>&nbsp;</P> <P>Sky will supply a Sky booster if you call them and explain the issue however a better solution in homes with thick walls is often powerline adapters which use the mains wiring to carry the signal. You buy a kit with 2 adapters one plugs into the wall near the hub and is linked by an ethernet cable that comes in the kit the second is similarly plugged in near the Q box again use a wall socket.
