Sky payment

Hello how do I actually speak to someone from sky I tried ringing all I wanted to do was speak to a real person my payment was overdue so I rang them and paid over the phone I don't want them to end up taking two lots of money out because that's happened before and I can't speak to anyone online chat as I haven't got the online chat on the corner of my screen

@Loulabelle1973 Same way you called the first time. Just stay on the line, don't hang up if prompted and eventually you'll get through to a Sky agent.

When was your payment due date and on what day did you pay

if you paid and are still within the date range above there is a chance the payment may be taken again as it's an automatic process and can't be

you should never need to make a manual payment unless Sky ask you too or your service is already restricted

@Loulabelle1973 Apologies, it wasn't clear. Ring Sky like you did previously. Best times to ring are just after 7am or about 9pm when the lines are quieter.

Do you pay your bills by a direct debit @Loulabelle1973 because if you do there is a chance this payment will still be taken as paying it yourself does not stop it from being taken by a DD.

What have Sky said they've charged it for? Some detail would be helpful.

Almost certainly within the terms of the contract.

If you are a new customer then first bills can be higher than expected.

Otherwise, it's probably a minimum term discount expiring.

I can't remember skys number sky have tried to get there payment but there is no money in the bank because I've made the Sky payment by Direct Debit and I would like to speak to a sky advisor

If your services are restricted then you won't be able to get through until the outstanding payment is paid and new continuous payment method setup

No my services are not restricted they tried to take money out my bank when there was no money in my bank because I've paid sky by Direct Debit on the sky app

A manual payment is not 'direct debit'. Sounds like you made a manual payment too close to stop the DD being attempted.

You need to call Sky as they will retry the DD after 10 days and your services may be restricted after that if it fails.

I've rang sky I spoke to a sky advisor and there going to refund the money I paid on the app then they can take the money out my bank
