      <title>Phone line appears to be disconnected</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Recently, my phone line has been "going missing" for periods of time and now it has gone completely as though my line has been disconnected. During these periods my phone shows the message "check phone line" and there is no dial tone. A caller will hear a ringing tone but there is no ringing at the phone. This is in conjunction with the broadband going intermittent but the two events do not necessarily coincide. For instance I now have broadband but no telephone. There is a lot of work being carried out locally for the introduction of Brsk I think and I thought that the interruption of both the broadband and telephone services may be due to these works as previously the phone line has always come back in the evening. This time, however it has been disconnected for two days.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I think that Sky could run some tests to ascertain the problem but it has. proved impossible to get through to anyone who may be able to help so far. Has anyone else had this problem? Also, is it normally the case that the service at Sky is so bad? I haven't had to contact them before about a problem.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;I have escalated your post to Sky who will be in touch with you regarding this via a blue/red chat bubble which will appear at the bottom of this page. It can take up to 24 hours to be contacted via this.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;They set up&amp;nbsp;an online chat for you to do that, but you didn't respond to the chat prompt and it qas closed automatically after 48 hours.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;We can ask Sky to set up another online chat, if you wish.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://helpforum.sky.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/3518244"&gt;@Mat995&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp; No one at all can identify you from a forum login, your forum account is not linked to your Sky account due to Data Protection, if you didn't engage with the chat as advised then Sky cannot just fix it as non one knows who you are or where you live.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The forum chat would have identified you &amp;amp; your account, then a fault could have been raised at that point.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;As you didn't engage with the forum chat team this will delay raising a fault to Openreach.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Once the blue chat bubble appears you only have 48 hours to instigate the private chat or it will close automatically so don’t miss the opportunity.
