absolute shocking internet!

my father has been with sky just little of 2 years. and the connection is absolutley terrible! i live with him due to health reasons and we have tried every trick under the sun, having people come out, diffrent boxes installed, added boosters the whole lot. and even then were lucky to have a stable connection, my kid complains all the time due to him gaming and his connection being slow, i have noticed it myself on my desktop. i ran speed tests and we were barley getting above 12 up, 12! when were paying for the high speed package. like i mentioned previously we have tried every trick under the sun and even then it hasnt worked and when i ring sky they try put us on some other deals like sims, phones and more tv channels and they rarley get to the point we have to remind them about the problem.

wondering if anyone here can help us.

@bkjxx 12Mb/s on a device could be good, bad or indifferent depending on the service bought and the line length. If you run the connection test in the My Sky app using a Sky id authorised for the account it will show you both the connection spedd to the hub and the minimum speed Sky guarantee for your dad's line.

If you can post the Hubs connection stats forum members can check ifvtherecare any obvious issues with the line see Find your Sky Broadband router statistics

What package are on you? 12 upload over WiFi is a good speed for Fibre not really sure what your issue is there
