Within the past 10 Minutes my internet has gone off over 5 times, Unbelievable experience.

If you're currently experiencing the interesting weather, one would suspect there's a link. Typically intermittent outage is infrastructure related and so the remit of Openreach rather than an ISP, but fault reporting is through Sky.

But a friend who lives near me also have sky but doesn't have the same issues that's what I don't get

Assuming you're on 'Superfast' (FTTC), only your property is on the end of your phone line, so a fault in that particular length of wire (or more likely a junction somewhere in the path to the cabinet) won't affect anyone else.

@Owen2021 Each line can be diferent, if water is getting in, or a dodgy connection this can cause your issues. You cannot compare your line to some one elses.
