Thats a real strange one. Is the hub connected to the same powerstrip as the PC? If so what happens if you move it to a different one?

Also what happens if you disconnect the ethernet cable and try?

Hi, I receoved my new Super Duper Sky Hub yesterday and all was well. I was on my PC today, and when I switched it off my Hub went off as well (all lights out, even power one) . Switched PC back on and Hub came back to life. I have my phone line connected; power cable and Ethernet cable that is all that is plugged into the Hub.

Is there no way of keeping my hub powered up without my PC being on all day and night?

Sorry if I am being thick but this has me baffled

hi thanks for replying

the only cable from hub into PC is the ethernet. If i remove the ethernet from the hub then i have no internet connection via PC . Could it just be that the PC is old (does not have wifi) and it is closing via ethernet? I would not have thought so but running out of ideas

You didnt answer my question about the power strip? Whats the case with that.

I understand you wont have a connection on the PC if you unplug the cable but we want to see whether the hub still switches off when the ethernet cable is unplugged...?
