Ultrafast speed

just upgraded ti ultrafast 150.

Appreciate there is a 10 day stabilisation period but how long does it normally get to go get up to speed. The connection is hovering around 80 but some times less.

I've looked at the router stats but it doesn't show a dl or up speed.

At the time you posted you were downloading at just over 135Mbps

And that appears to be via wifi. The best way is to do speedtest on fast.com using ethernet with no other activity . However those are excellent speeds over wifi

The last number rx **bleep** is received bits per second ie 135Mbps

However the time at the end of the wifi is showing its just up for 1 hour 42 in comparison to the 8 hours the router has been connected indicating something may be interfering with both 2.4 and 5 ghz wifi

@JPR007 any ideas

understand it now. Looks like it's the 5ghz is 6 hours behind the 2.4 for what ever reason.

could it be that as no device used 5ghz it didn't come on until something connected using that frequency?

The uptime will reset if the radio changes channel this is normal providing it doesnt happen too often.

To get an accurate reading of the performance of your broadband you'd need to run a test via ethernet when all your other devices are disconnected
