BBC news at 6

I like to watch BBC news at 6.

I have it on my playlist.
Then I can watch when I'm ready.
This has been working fine but the last week it seems I can only watch when it's actually on.
I've looked on the bbc app to see if it's there but it isn't.
Who can put this right ?

If on playlist then I should be able to watch when I want to !

All down to the BBC unfortunately and sky has zero rights to record their channels.

Check your iPlayer region is set correctly is the only option you have.

I could be wrong but I think BBC news is only available for 24 hours, probably because it goes out of date quite quickly. You wouldn't want to watch today's news next week, it'll have old information, such as who the Prime Minister is.

@Zena5 Afaik the playlist takes the content from the respective broadcasters catch-up service if they don't upload it to that then it won't play

Can understand that but it's 6:45 this evening and am trying to watch this evenings news at 6 🤔
