Hi, how often are the sky glass updates ?

also , is there an official forum where you feedbacks issues/ comments ?

There is no actual time frame for releases, Sky will release when they have managed to get a stable update ready.

This forum is monitored for trending topics and feedback topics.

As there hasnt been a software update since December, we should be expecting one soon. But this is just speculation of course.

The whole deployed Glass fleet has been updated once since release in October last year, to 02.08.0

A second update was then deployed in December and subsequently rolled back on televisions: some devices never got this. That left Pucks on 3.05.0, and TVs all over the place.

A (presumably revised) version of this had a first batch release a couple of weeks ago: that will only have landed on a subset of hardware so far.

Sky themselves say:

The next update is coming soon, or should that be very soon for some...

it will be rolled out over a two week period. So you will have to have a bit of patience and wait your turn.

NO forcing software updates as it won't work.

amazing if true, I never believe sky when they say an update is coming, they have been saying this since the start of Jan.

Has anyone actually received and tested the new update or is it only starting to roll out sometime today??

I would suspect this may only be bug fixes rather than any new features

Would be useful if the roll out started with those who had Glass the longest (and suffered the longest as well) Or is top much to hope for?

My TV and 3 pucks have updated today I can't see any new features so assuming this is a maintenance release. Hopefully the pucks will bbe more stable.
