I’m getting the same messages on both of my Xbox consoles. Tried turning off at plug but still getting same message - arrrh!

I'm getting the same error. It seems to have started since updating the Xbox with the latest 2018 October update. Doing restarts, force quits don't seem to work!

I am having the same issue, it’s a brand new Xbox one S. The service worked for one day and as soon as I tried to sign in to the sky app on my older Xbox 360 the error started to occur. I’ve hunted for fixes, one suggestion was to remove all devices in manage devices. So I did. I will have to wait months to put them back on now. Even when I open the app on Xbox one I’m still getting this error. People have been reporting this for months... surely there is a fix for this???

This isn't really a fix, but what I had to do was...

1. Logout of the app

2. Delete all trace of the app

3. Then I did a hard shutdown (press and hold power button) , and uplugged the power from the socket for 1 minute.

4. Booted up the Xbox, reinstalled Sky app and logged in.

The error for me then disappeared. I don't know if it just needed a reinstall all what but the following worked for me.

I did something similar... only difference was I reset the Xbox to factory settings and went through setup again rather than a hard reset. I did notice that the Sky app was still in my ‘ready to install’ - which led me to think I haven’t managed to remove all traces.... I wasn’t surprised when I got the same error again. I’m running out of ideas and patience.

Signing out of sky id, into another then back to the original is showing promise. Unfortunately I can only watch sky news right now due to exceeding my device limit during all the troubleshooting so have to wait 3 days before I can get the Xbox back on my whitelist. The app has been at its steadiest all day and doesn’t seem to be showing the error or crashing.

I fixed this problem by deleting the sky app and reinstalling it.

You need to uninstall sky after every Xbox update. Reinstall and sign in, has worked every time for me so far

Re install the app. It normally works for me although this problem should be fixed by now!

I’m getting this problem on my Xbox one and have tried everything to resolve it! Has anyone found a fix yet? Seems ridiculous that these problems have been going on so long

Your xbox one app is a load of **bleep**e. Never loads a programme, no matter how many resets, re-signs or updates. You need to fix this or get rid of the app

Anyone know when the servers will be running again... Mines not been working for nearly a week now, missed so many euro matches... Just wish sky would care a little and get this sorted.
