Getting ALL emails on webmail but only some on my iPhone

Something weird has started happening.

A friend sent me an email, I checked on my iPhone - wasn't there.

Logged into webmail on my lapto - there it was!

Sent myself a test email - came through on my iPhone AND was in Webmeial.

Looked back through my webmail and there are quite a few emails I have not seen on my iPhone.

What could that be?

On your phone is your email set up as an IMAP account or a POP one ?

What app are you using on your iPhone? Some apps (such as Outlook) have what is called a "focused inbox" I personally always turn it off.

No, just using the standard Mail client on ipHone

In that case I can't think of any reason why your iPhone would not reflect exactly what is on the webmail.

@urbun Have you tried deleting the mail account from your iphone and then adding it back in. It appears that some iphone users are also having similar problems, albeit it isn't Yahoo but Microsoft Exchange. So, perhaps some "apple" feature.
Also, in your mail settings, accounts, fetch new data. Are you set for manual or fetch ?
