I am sick and fed up of repetedly getting the message "Your sky account settings re out of date"

I spoke with sky last week and supposedly they had sorted it. I have stopped getting email from HO and it is loosing me money and vital contact. I have tried to send an email and it came back with an error.

This is getting beyond ridiculous, i reponded to an email coming into my account and i tried to reset this particular PW and the link to do this hasnt come through why when the email i responded to was the one they were sending the link back to!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@oggle+goggle Are you acessing email using an email client, if so I would remove the account then add it back in as clearly there are setting sthat are out of date, for example if you have it setup as POP and not Imap, POP is an outdated mode and more insecure than Imap.

Sky can't stop your computer from generating thsi message, as they have yet to take control of all the worlds electrical devices. These are the settings you should have.

Incoming Mail (IMAP) Server

Server - imap.mail.yahoo.com
Port - 993
Requires SSL - Yes

Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server

Server - smtp.mail.yahoo.com
Port - 465 or 587
Requires SSL - Yes
Requires authentication - Yes

Your login info

Email address - Your full email address
Password - Generate App Password
Requires authentication - Yes

Are you accessing your emails via a browser? Or using an app or client? Which one?
