I cannot remotely record itv from my I phone to my sky q box. I am able

to record other channels like bbc channel4 , channel 5

It works fine for me on my iPhone. Are you using the latest version of the Sky Go app? Try using the Sky+ app instead - it works for setting remote recordings to Sky Q too.

Is your ITV region correct because if it isn't issues like this do happen so download the Sky+ app and go to settings > region and change it here if it is wrong.

You have to remember with SKY there is always a catch.

You can only record sky programmes to your iphone if you are near your Q box.

Sky give the impression that you can record to your iphone where ever you are.

Now that would be useful.

Sky don't make this clear. But why would they, they are always glossing over and over hyping their ideas and making out they are way more useful than they actual are.

For example I am on hoiday 200 miles away from home and want to record the football on my iphone to watch later, NO CHANCE, I am no where near my Q Box, so no chance.

I think you're confusing scheduling a recording from an iPhone (which the original post was about) and downloading recordings from your box to an iPhone. The latter has never been possible with any Sky product.

For the football @LES+JONES+7777

you can use the Sky Go app to set a recording to your Sky Q box at home or you can watch the match live via the app itself.
