Incoming email goes straight to deleted folder.

I really am at my wits end. The problem is as above. Nothing stays in the inbox, and it happens on clients I use, such as gmail, as well as the sky website. I have reset the sky password and relogged in, I have checked filters, there arent any in operation. This happens on my desktop, and using clients on my android. Literally, for 1 hour this afternoon, they stayed in the inbox, but then in every client and on the website they all went to dlete foder.

I had the misfortune to speak to sky's weekend team. Firstly I was told to turn the desk top on and off. Then a supervisor told me to doo everyhing I had already tried, change password and check filters.

This evening, I even tried deleting the account in gmail and tried restting up the account again. It came up with a bad error message, and told me it didnt accept my password, yet the sky website did, for the same account.

To add insult to injury anyone who sends me an email is told my inbox is full, whilst there is nothing in it.

Are Sky really incompetent, or is there a dept that can genuinly help me to solve this.

Anyone out there that can help it will be much appreciated.

If you have checked the settings on the Sky email page: https://skyid.sky.com/signin/email and there are no filters set there, the most likely thing is that your email is being accessed via POP by a client such as Outlook or Thunderbird, and that leave a copy on the server" is not set in said client.

When you mention Gmail, do you mean the app or the webmail?

Have you checked the Gmail app for the "leave a copy message" to see if this is selected ?

For some reason the app always seems to give a 404 error if you use your Sky password.

For the webmail that will be picking up the Sky emails via POP so that is probably what is sending them to the deleted folder.

I already had a picture saved so we don't need to wait for moderation.
