Setting up two sky accounts in Outlook 365

I have two Sky email accounts whch I want to access from Outlook 365

One works fine with the app password generated by Yahoo but I cannot get the other one to work at all on either Mac or Windows computers.

Both work fine in web-based apps

Do I need to use the same app generated password for both? Or different ones for both? Is it is even possible.

Have been with Sky for many years but am becoming pretty underwhelmed with (i) how difficult this is and (ii) how poor the advice on the web is and (iii) why Sky Yahoo email doesn't work with the latest version of Outlook without this clunky app generated password feature.

Any wisdom or advice out there?

You will need to use a different app password on each account.

But! that password must be generated by the correct account. You can't just generate them from the same account.

The best way to ensure you are using the correct account is to log on here:

https://www.sky.com/myaccount/my-details

Make sure it's the right address and then scroll down to "Sky Yahoo Mail access" and generate it from there.

Thanks @jayach ! That points me in the right direction.

The account that is working in Outlook is the primary Sky account. When I log in as that account I can see the option to generate an app password.

The account that isn't working in Outlook is a secondary email account. When I log in as that account I have no option to generate an app password. So I've been trying to use app passwords generated from the primary account - without success so far!

So I think you're saying the app password needs to be generated from the correct email account, but I seem to have no ption to do this.

Is there a way around this?

All you should need to do is to login to this link with the correct Sky ID for the account you want to generate the password for:

https://www.sky.com/sky-yahoo-mail/manage-apps?client=email

Both accounts now up and running.

That seems unusual, perhaps the option doesn't appear until after you have generated at least one password, but that would be counter-intuitive.
