Are you sure you gave the correct details as agreed when you subscribed to sky broadband?

@Jfear Why would you think the account has been hacked? as per @cookiemonsteruk if you gave incorrect details then you wouldn't be able to access your account, it doesn't mean it's been hacked.

@Jfear Which details don't match? You should be able to provide correct address, house number, postcode, telephone number etc. If you set an account password and forgot it then that would fail access.

@Jfear If they have you reported as dearly departed then who have Sky got as the account holder at your address? Who are any advertising letters sent to?

@Jfear Normally that can only be done by a next of kin/family member and I'm presuming Sky would need some kind of evidence too.

By law thay cant tell me just said not down as me to report it as fraud

"Then this morning pressed and held router's reset button till fist light went red still held till it flashed green . Let go and let all lights go green waited 10-15mins tried buddy and yay it worked . Had to reasign devices mind . Hope this helps others that are still haveing issues . 😀"

Must have happened since you fixed the broadband buddy issue🤔

@Jfear your story does not make a lot of sense but one possibility is Sky have picked up thecwrong account and "killed you off" rather than the corrdtvaccount. I have escalated your post to a team of Sky agents who support the forum who should be able to ook into this for you.

They will send you an invitation to a chat session through the forum where a blue button will appear. They will ask some seciurity questions so have the details of the account you pay from as thst is often asked.

Unfortunately we wont be able to assist with this as we would need the same security information to access the account. My best suggestion would be to call and speak with the accessibility team to see if there is something they can do to help.

Spoke with sky 3 times got told to report to police .

Ive been a sky customer for 19yrs my personal info has neaver changed .

Im a v.i.p customer .

Im paying the bill for a service i can not use correctly .

Sky told me i need a engineer but cant book as my account can't be accessed .

Very annoyed at sky thinking of takeing my custom to another provider if not resolved asap .

Have a child with austium that does not understand why the wifi is playing up

How can my info be changed with out me doing so ???????

Been told account holder name + password dont match ..... How when im a diamond v.i.p i havent changed anything , i only contact sky when i have a issue that requires a engineer like NOW to be told all the above is incorrect ........😡
