My internet is down in glasgow

I have tried to reset it all day and need it for work was okay this morning then just went off been down for a while now. Every time I do the check it says it can't complete it and boots me off.

@CianOlivia1234 It would be quicker if you can call by another means to report this fault to Sky. If not there is other ways to get this fault actioned by Sky.

Appears to be affecting BT as well. Sounds like a network fault within the Greater Glasgow area

You can't drive anywhere at the moment without seeing adverts for Sky Glass.

So inthe week Sky decide to launch a TV streaming service, they demonstrate that they can't even provide a reliable Broadband service to thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of homes in the west of Scotland.

As detailed above its not just affecting sky but bt and probably other isp's as well. Such network faults are on openreach infrastructure and as such are theirs to fix

Our WiFi has not been working here in G32 since about 8pm and the Sky broadband checker keeps saying "Oops not working" - I think it's time to look for another provider...

How would changing isp help you in a situation where other isp's are experiencing the same issues? If you where able to change immediately you would face the same issue.

@cookiemonsteruk It won't, but you can't tell some people. They either don't want to know, or just jump in on a negative thread without actually reading what might be causing the issue, and how widely it affects things.

My point is the Sky broadband checker says "oops not working" - maybe another provider has better communication...

Hilarious that you even think these two things are related. Can a company now not launch any new products at all until its existing ones have a 100% success rate? Which no technology ever in history has a promised 100% success rate.

The outage is down to Openreach lines and completely out of Sky's control.
