Smart Tv in back room buffering / sky Q mini

The snart tv in back room buffers. Used to be on a sunday night and now its all the time. Can sky Q mini in the next room be used as wifi booster?

do I need to connect the sky q mini to the broadband box

been trying to look up on help but not sure im understanding it

@Bevlarrr if you have Sky broadband the Q mini is already acting as a booster. If you have any other ISP then it is now possible with the latest Sky Q firmware - the setting is in the Settings as explained here https://www.sky.com/help/articles/wifi-hotspots

Hi thanks for reply. I do have sky broadband. Is there a way i can check the sky mini is being a booster ? Thanks

If the Sky Q mini box is connected to the internet then it is acting as a booster, you cant check it

Wifi through boosters isnt guaranteed by Sky, you may find there isnt much they can do.
