      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi all, I was having trouble with i telnet download speed, sky have sent out new router but it will not connect to Internet.. am I right in thinking I don't need filter on my bt box..tried rebooting,filter on and filter off with optional cables but light stays orange..engineer just set up skyq but we had to revert back to my old router..any thoughts..thanks.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;If you have 2 sockets on the faceplate of the master socket then you don't need a microfilter otherwise you do. Also, when first connecting the router it may take an hour or two to connect to the internet before DLM stabilizes&amp;nbsp;the connection and establishes a connection. After that period if it still doesn't connect then you likely have a fault and you should use the broadband test facility in the Sky App to book an engineer by testing the connection via a 4G signal on a mobile network.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;re connected the new router yesterday evening and left for 2 hours and nothing, it just keeps telling me it can not connect and to disconnect the modem cable from socket for 5 seconds and reconnect.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It will keep cycling through the same process. cheers&lt;/P&gt;</description>
