Hi,

I have noticed that next doors tree branches keep brushing against our telephone line and wondered who I report this to? The reason is that if our connection become damaged we will lose our line for emergency purposes untill it was re routed, repaired or the tree was trimmed.

Thank you for any help.

Openreach own and maintain the phone lines, but it's Sky you would need to speak to, as your provider.

However, it's unlikely that Openreach will accept a fault report from Sky as long as the line remains operational, I'm afraid. Unless there are safety issues they won't touch a working line.

Ok, I have also been told that the local council may act as an intermeadiary too. Thanks anyway.

There is, but it's only for dangerous, existing faults. If your call had been answered they would likely have referred you back to Sky as your service provider.

Maybe. But thinking positive the mobile makes sense under the circumstances.
