Cant receive or make calls. phone says please check line cord.

Phone says please check line cord. Have disconnected everything & reconnected. Have tried a different phone. No dial tone. Nothing. Mom is 85 and relies on this phone & it is connected to her lifeline button. When you call from another phone you hear it ring out but not her phone. Need this repaired urgently & sky are closed for training 🤬
