      <title>Intermittent broadband issues - AL7</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Intermittent broadband issues since 14.00 yesterday afternoon. Broadband dropped completely for an hour, then came back up. This morning it has been very patchy, working for a little while, then dropping completely. I have three green lights on my router at all times.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I contacted Sky yesterday who advised that there were no issues reported in my area. and that if I had three green lights the problem would not be with my equipment. I had the router replaced little under two months ago due to continued spiking issues (thirty seconds of 2-3 GB, then dropping to 0 - 8.0 KB for 5-10 seconds).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Has anyone else experienced the same?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;To me that sounds like WiFi failure on the router. Do the mini boxes stop showing live TV or is just the on demand part that fails?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Just the demand part that fails.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;We have a main Sky Q box downstairs and one upstairs. Other permanent WiFi connections are three cctv cameras, two Ring devices, four Amazon Echo devices. I am working from home on a WiFi connection that occasionally requires VPN access, working during normal work hours.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;I would suggest you download a WiFi analyser app on your phone to see if the channel you are using is congested, then change the WiFi channel in the hubs settings. If you still experience issues then you'd look at getting a replacement router.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Thanks. Am a complete novice on this so I don't know how I can check from the app if the WiFi channel is congested. I have cchecked the download and upload speeds respectivley - approx 7.2MB and 1.1MB which I think is OK - but the WiFi info on the app only provides Subnet Mask, IP address, and data sent/rfeceived since last boot. SSID, BSSID and Vendor settings are all N/A.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Do I just check the speed regularly?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks for all the help, much appreciated.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;Which app are you using? E.g. I am using the Andriod app Network Analyzer, if i got to WiFi signal on the sub menu and change it to the graph view I am able to see all the WiFi networks around me and what channel they are on. If you look for the name of your WiFi and see if any are overlapping it and if there are any channels that have more free space.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;On IoS and have downloaded one called Network Analyzer Master, and one called Network Analyzer. Both just have a flat menu with no submenu options, and display very similar data..&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;There should be an option to change to a graph view. If not then you could attempt to just change the channel anyway on the hubs settings to see if that helps the issue&lt;/P&gt;</description>
